No. You’re buying digital files to 3D print the lamp yourself. Nothing is shipped. You’ll need a 3D printer, filament and an LED strip.

A download with all print-ready files, the print guide with settings for every part, and the license. The files arrive by email within a few minutes of purchase.

It depends on your printer. VUVU is a floor lamp up to 94 cm tall and needs a build volume of at least 250 × 250 × 250 mm. VUVU Mini is a 28 cm table lamp for printers from 180 × 180 × 180 mm, like the Bambu A1 mini and Prusa MINI.

Not reliably. The LED groove and click connections stop fitting. Choose VUVU Mini instead.

VUVU takes about 21–26 hours for small, 31–38 hours for medium and 41–51 hours for large. VUVU Mini takes about 13 hours. Most parts take 3–6 hours each.

Print the light column in translucent PETG, because it sits right next to the warm LEDs. The base and shades can be PLA or PETG.

Yes. The guide walks you through every setting, step by step. You’ll need a 0.4 mm and a 0.8 mm nozzle.

The lamps are designed around the Philips Hue Lightstrip Solo, 3 m. Other strips work as long as they fit the 17 × 5 mm groove, can be cut to length and have a certified plug-in power supply.

No. The light column clicks together, the shades stack on top and the base holds everything. You won’t need glue. The only cutting is the LED strip.

Up to seven modules is stable. Beyond that, I wouldn’t recommend it.

No. The LED strip stays well below the point where PETG softens, so the lamp won’t sag or discolour in normal use.

Your download link stays active for about six months, so save your files somewhere safe. When a design gets an update, you’ll get a new link.
